Location Highlights

The GIDC Kutch location provides Globcom Minerals with a distinct strategic advantage across raw material procurement, logistics, export facilitation and regulatory compliance.

  • Proximity to Kandla Port (Deendayal Port Authority)
One of India's largest multi-cargo ports handling significant volumes of non-ferrous metal raw materials and finished goods — enabling competitive import of metal scrap and export of finished ingots.
  • Access to Mundra Port
India's largest private port and a major hub for containerized exports — providing Globcom Minerals with additional logistics flexibility for international shipments.
  • Excellent Highway Connectivity
Located on the National Highway network with direct connectivity to Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Mumbai — enabling efficient domestic distribution across western India.
  • GIDC Industrial Ecosystem
Access to a mature industrial ecosystem including engineering services, skilled labour, utilities infrastructure and industry-standard compliance environment.
Plant & Machinery

Key Infrastructure

Our facility is equipped with industrial-grade machinery and systems selected for efficiency, precision and environmental compliance.

High-Efficiency Reverberatory & Rotary Furnaces

Our primary smelting operations use high-efficiency reverberatory and rotary furnaces optimized for non-ferrous metal melting. These furnaces provide superior energy efficiency, consistent melt temperatures and high metal recovery rates — critical for the production of Lead, Aluminium, Copper and Antimony at scale.

Computer-Controlled Refining & Drossing Systems

Post-smelting refining is carried out through fully computerized systems controlling temperature profiles, alloying additions and drossing operations. This ensures precise control over final metal composition, minimizes contamination and maximizes metal yield from each production cycle.

Automated Ingot Casting Lines

Molten metal is transferred to automated ingot casting lines that produce uniform ingots with consistent geometry, weight and surface quality. Automated casting eliminates human variability, ensuring each batch meets dimensional and weight specifications required by downstream manufacturing operations.

In-House Quality Control Laboratory

Our dedicated quality control laboratory is equipped with optical emission spectrometers (OES) and other analytical instruments for rapid, accurate chemical composition verification. Every batch undergoes in-house spectrometric testing before release, with full test certificates provided to customers for traceability and compliance.

Operational Capabilities

Facility Features

Multi-Metal Processing

Integrated production capability for four distinct non-ferrous metals — Lead, Aluminium, Copper and Antimony — from a single facility, enabling operational synergies and supply flexibility.

Computerised Operations

End-to-end digital control of smelting, refining and casting processes with advanced process control systems delivering precision, repeatability and data-driven quality management.

Environmental Compliance

All operations conform to applicable environmental regulations. Emission control systems, effluent management and waste minimization protocols are integral to our manufacturing processes.

Scalable Capacity

The facility is designed with scalability in mind — current installed capacity of 1,08,000 TPA can be expanded to meet future demand growth through phased capital investment in additional furnace lines.

Raw Material Storage

Adequate raw material storage areas for segregated storage of different metal feedstocks, ensuring no cross-contamination and enabling buffer stock management to maintain continuous production.

Quality Assurance

Dedicated quality assurance protocols at every stage — from incoming raw material inspection through in-process controls to final product testing — ensuring every ingot meets specification before dispatch.

Logistics Advantage

Strategic Location

Our GIDC Kutch facility's proximity to two of India's premier cargo ports provides a decisive logistics advantage for both raw material procurement and finished goods distribution — domestically and internationally.

Kandla (Deendayal Port Authority) and Mundra Port together handle substantial volumes of non-ferrous metal scrap, raw materials and finished metal products. Being located within the GIDC Kutch industrial zone enables Globcom Minerals to maintain competitive raw material costs, efficient import logistics and reliable export capability.

Kandla Port (Deendayal Port Authority) One of India's largest multi-cargo ports — major handler of non-ferrous metal raw materials and finished products. Close proximity enables efficient import of secondary metal feedstock.
Mundra Port India's largest private port and a key hub for containerized export — providing additional logistics flexibility and competitive freight rates for international shipments.
Highway & Rail Connectivity Direct National Highway access to Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan — the three primary domestic markets — enabling efficient truck-based distribution across western India.
